This is long overdue, but I need to explain why we stopped posting Brandon's letters to a blog. There have been some concerns in his part of the world (Eastern Europe) with investigators or members reading the blogs of the missionaries and misinterpreting some of the things written (even when the names are disguised), so we were advised to stop posting letters on the internet.
I don't know if anyone out there is checking this blog, but if you would like an update on Elder Porter or would like me to forward excerpts of his emails to you directly, please contact me at utahporters@msn.com.
Elder Porter is doing fantastic - he is working very hard and has experienced great growth. We know he will have many fascinating stories to share with us when he returns home in a little over three months!
